Chelsea has more than a decade of experience working within the public and private sector. Before becoming a lawyer, Chelsea worked at the Victorian Building Authority and for Queens Counsel for four years.
Chelsea was admitted as a solicitor to the legal profession in 2015. Prior to joining Mornington Legal in 2018, Chelsea worked as a generalist solicitor for two years in a mid-tier law firm.
Chelsea is well versed in employment law, commercial litigation, criminal law and debt recovery.
Chelsea’s commercial litigation and dispute resolution experience includes injunctive relief, defamation, insolvency, administrative law.
Chelsea can advise clients in a variety of matters under the Fair Work Act 2009, (Cth) Bankruptcy Act 1966 (Cth), Administration and Probate Act 1958 (Vic), Wills Act 1997 (Vic), Guardianship and Administration Act 1986 (Vic)
Chelsea can advise and instruct in all court jurisdictions and appears in the Magistrates’ Court and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
She is an adept advocate, acting in conciliatory matters on behalf of employees and corporate clients in the Fair Work Commission.
